Terms of Service

Last updated: 28 September 2026.

These terms describe the intended use of BestCarsNews, its automotive articles and its contact channels. The site provides information to support research and decisions. A separate, express agreement is needed for a commercial service or other arrangement with BestCarsNews.

Understand what an article can establish

An explanation of a vehicle system can help you understand a symptom, compare options or prepare questions for a workshop. It cannot inspect the condition of your vehicle, identify every possible fault or certify that a repair is safe. A list of possible causes is not a diagnosis of the vehicle in front of you.

Check important specifications against the documentation for the exact application. Make, model and year can be insufficient: engine, trim, production date, market and modifications may affect fitment or the correct procedure. Confirm a part's identification and requirements with the manufacturer or seller before buying it.

A manufacturer claim quoted or discussed in an article remains that manufacturer's claim. Research, a product listing and first-hand testing are different kinds of evidence. Do not interpret a comparison as proof that BestCarsNews purchased, fitted or tested the products unless the article expressly describes that work.

Make vehicle and safety decisions with appropriate help

Use the relevant owner's manual and current service information. Tools, support equipment, training and working conditions matter as much as the written steps. Do not improvise a procedure when you cannot identify a component, verify the specification or safely support the vehicle.

A website message is not emergency assistance. If a vehicle has serious operating symptoms or may be unsafe to drive, obtain suitable local roadside or repair help. Do not keep driving or repeat a risky test solely to compare the result with an article.

Inspection rules, road requirements and permitted modifications vary. Confirm the requirements that apply to the vehicle and location involved. General content on this site does not grant approval for a modification or replace an official determination.

Check current information before a purchase

Prices, availability, specifications, warranties and seller terms can change after publication. A cited price or feature is not a binding offer from the seller, a promise of compatibility or a guarantee of cost savings, lifespan or performance.

For an external purchase, check the seller's identity, final price, delivery conditions, returns process and warranty. The purchase is handled by that seller. An article link does not make BestCarsNews the merchant or the administrator of the seller's warranty.

Advertising and commercial relationships

Google AdSense is not enabled in the current version of the site. If advertisements are enabled later, an ad's appearance will not establish that BestCarsNews inspected the advertised product or verified the advertiser's claims. Advertising information and controls are explained in the Privacy Policy.

If a particular article or link involves a paid arrangement or commission, its accompanying disclosure should identify that relationship. Do not assume that every external link has the same commercial purpose. A business proposal or product shipment does not create an agreement to publish or provide a favourable assessment.

Reading, sharing and using material

You may read publicly available pages and share links to them. Reproducing text, images or other material may require permission from the relevant rights holder. Naming a source or adding a link does not by itself grant reproduction rights. Uses permitted by applicable law remain available.

Vehicle brands, product names, logos and other third-party material can belong to their respective owners. Mentioning a company or product identifies the subject; it does not by itself establish sponsorship, endorsement or a business relationship.

Do not interfere with the website's availability, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code or impersonate someone else. Automated requests should respect applicable published access rules and avoid disrupting other readers. These terms do not grant access to private systems or records.

Corrections, rights enquiries and messages

A useful correction report identifies the page, the disputed passage and supporting information. A rights enquiry should identify the material, the affected page and your relationship to the rights holder. The Contact page explains how to send those details.

Only send material you are entitled to share, and keep personal information relevant to the enquiry. An unsolicited suggestion or message does not create a repair service, a publishing commitment or a confidentiality agreement. If a proposal needs confidential treatment, agree a suitable arrangement before disclosing confidential material.

The About page describes the site's subject matter. The Privacy Policy explains browsing information, analytics choices and correspondence. A request to change content should explain the factual or rights issue rather than include threats or deceptive information.

Changes, availability and applicable rights

Articles can be corrected or replaced, and access can be interrupted by maintenance or technical problems. Recheck a source or seller term when a decision depends on it. Keep the relevant purchase or service documentation supplied by the responsible business.

The date above identifies this version of the terms. Future revisions should describe the site as it operates at that time. Nothing on this page is intended to exclude a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded under the rules that apply to you.
